A quick and easy copycat breakfast wrap made with fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, melted cheese, and a warm flour tortilla. This homemade Wake-Up Wrap is perfect for busy mornings and can be customized with sausage, vegetables, or your favorite cheese.
Total Time:15 minutes
Yield:1 wrap
Ingredients
2 large eggs
2 slices bacon
1 small flour tortilla, about 6 inches
1 slice American cheese
1 teaspoon butter
⅛ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon black pepper
⅛ teaspoon garlic powder, optional
⅛ teaspoon onion powder, optional
Hot sauce, optional
Instructions
Cook the bacon: Place bacon in a skillet over medium heat and cook until crisp. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and set aside.
Prepare the eggs: Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk with salt, black pepper, and optional garlic and onion powder.
Scramble the eggs: Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over low to medium-low heat. Add the eggs and gently stir until soft and just cooked.
Warm the tortilla: Heat the flour tortilla in a clean skillet for about 15–20 seconds per side until warm and flexible.
Assemble: Place the scrambled eggs in the center of the tortilla. Add the cooked bacon and American cheese.
Fold: Fold the bottom and sides of the tortilla over the filling, then fold the top down to create a compact wrap.
Toast: Place the wrap seam-side down in a skillet over medium-low heat. Toast for 30–60 seconds per side until lightly golden and the cheese has melted.
Serve: Remove from the skillet and serve warm with hot sauce or your favorite breakfast side.
Notes
Don’t overcook the eggs, as they can become dry and rubbery.
A 6-inch flour tortilla works best for the classic small Wake-Up Wrap size.
American cheese provides a smooth, creamy melt, while cheddar can be used for a sharper flavor.
Bacon can be replaced with a cooked breakfast sausage patty or turkey sausage.
Avoid overfilling the tortilla so it folds neatly without tearing.
For meal prep, refrigerate cooked wraps for up to 2–3 days and reheat in a skillet or toaster oven.
