This creamy Taylor Farms everything ranch dip recipe is a quick homemade dip packed with tangy ranch flavor, garlic, onion, herbs, sesame seeds, and poppy seeds. It takes about 10 minutes to prepare and tastes even better after chilling. Serve it with fresh vegetables, chips, crackers, pretzels, or use it as a spread for sandwiches and wraps.

  • Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes
  • Yield: 8 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup full-fat sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons softened cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped green onion
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated dried carrot, optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon melted unsalted butter
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons additional buttermilk, if needed

Instructions

  1. Add softened cream cheese to a medium bowl and whisk or mash until smooth.
  2. Add mayonnaise and sour cream. Mix until creamy and well combined.
  3. Stir in buttermilk, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and Dijon mustard.
  4. Add dried dill, parsley, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  5. Fold in everything bagel seasoning, dried minced onion, chopped green onion, and optional dried carrot.
  6. Stir in the melted butter once it has cooled slightly.
  7. If the dip is too thick, add additional buttermilk 1 teaspoon at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour so the flavors can blend.
  9. Stir before serving and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  10. Serve chilled with fresh vegetables, chips, crackers, pretzels, or use as a sandwich spread.

Notes

  • Use softened cream cheese for the smoothest texture.
  • Do not add too much salt at first because everything bagel seasoning can be salty.
  • For a thinner ranch dressing, gradually add more buttermilk.
  • For stronger everything-seasoning flavor, add another 1 teaspoon of everything bagel seasoning.
  • The dip tastes best after chilling for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 to 5 days.
  • Freezing is not recommended because the dairy and mayonnaise-based ingredients can separate after thawing.
